ok so i go bike shopping this past weekend..and of course i want everything i see..went to powersports..they had a 05 gsxr 750..every bolt on imaginable..it was the GMs bike..has 30miles on it..decided he didnt want it..it was like fate..the color is awesome..then he tells me its $11900...13200 w/tax,title..bla bla...i was like ouch..i was approved for the loan and for $159 payments..126 a month for insurance..my problem is..it will be the first bike i own..i have rode before..but never owned..is this too nice and expensive of a bike for my 1st bike..?the guy wont stop calling me to come get it..lol..just not sure if its the right thing to do..any advie would help..thanks..

buy a 3k ish 600 then pick what you want later.... I'm going to go out on a limb and say it won't be a $13k 750cc gixxer.

lol..i told myself my first bike would be used..then of course i see this 1 and the sales guy makes it sound too good to be true..the payments werent bad imo..i was looking to spend no more than around $5k tho..i was going to go straight to the 750 because everyone told me they got used to the 600 way to quick..i used to ride my friends gsxr600 all the time..ya i think im going to go with a used 1..this guy wont lay off tho..i think he has called 4 times 2day..thanks everyone..

also anyone every heard of Lasco(sp?) insurance..thats who powersports go with..really cheap..didnt know how good they were..thats really my only concern is finding a a low price on insurance..i know its going to be higher w/financing..but something around $1500 a year or so..anyways..thanks

if i had an 05 gsxr 750 and you were going to pay $13,200 for it, I would be calling you 10 times a day.

i went to the dealership about 3 months back knowing that i will not buy a brand new bike, and damn everything sounded sooooo good. i would have a brand new bike blah blah blah warranty all that shit and the guy was like i can get you out the door for less than 10k. eff that $9,xxx for a new gsxr600 screw that shit. plus add about $500 more for gear. thats why i am trying to get a used one

well he brought it too 11499...then have to figure tax,tag, and title..and he was going to give me free corona jacket,any helmet, and gloves..the bike had about $3000+ in parts not including labor..so he says...only 30miles..bad ass bike..you can go check it out up there at powersports in st.pete/clearwater..dark blue/black..i was very tempted..lol..still want it..but just a lot of money

if you get that 750 you better bring an ice bag and socks/shoes with somthing for you to grab a hold of ....i know exactly whos bike that is and who your sales person was. its really nothing special, but chris is cool.
