what is the going fees for MSF course?
i am looking into having my wife take the MSF course because i believe it will be the easiest way for her to get experience without me losing my patience. however, the place over here wants 300 bucks, she has to bring her own gear, and they said she can BUY a bike there for the course! WTF? this just doesnt sound right.
i dont know because ive never taken the MSF course or had a need to.
are these prices about par?
any input would be greatly appreciated.

Last i knew. They offer one behind Honeywell in clearwater, road tests are in st pete. My dad took it last year for $175. I really need to do this myself so I can get a bike and feel safe. Prob one place my tax money will go.

I just took the course at the St. Pete Allstate center last weekend and I paid 190 and they supplied the bikes. You just have to have gloves and a long sleve shirt. Preferably your own helmet. They do provide them. But I wouldnt want to stick my head in something someone else has had their sweaty dome in. lol and you have to have shoes that go over your ancle.
I took it off of I-4 in Orlando, the Harley Davidson place. It was 225 and THEY provide your bike and helmet if you don't have one I beleive. Just have to wear jeans, long sleeves, and a shoe that covers the ankle. It was a VERY good class and there were quite a few new women there that didn't know the difference between clutch and brake. At the end of the second day they were riding circles around the parking lot and passed all the manauevers test.
yea i thought 300 was kinda steep
