The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is mourning the loss of one of its own killed in a weekend crash.
Deputy Kenneth Lilly Jr., 36, was off duty when he lost control of his motorcycle near his New Port Richey home Sunday.
Lilly had been with the sheriff's office since 1996.

When: The accident occurred Sunday, December 25, 2005
How/Why:
The Florida Highway Patrol is handling the accident investigation.Questions regarding the investigation should be directed to the FHP.

That name sounds soooo familiar. I think it may have been 1 of the 2 officers that pulled me over in npr not but a month and a half ago. If it's the same guy, it was a brand new R1.
