Angry my mom bailed on me!! *pissed*

yea so my mom was co-signing my student loan for me so i could get enrolled in school and get some extra expenses money to buy my bike+insurance+my heartship license, and weve already gotten all the papers subitted and got approved for me to start on the 27th of Dec and she writes me an email last nite saying she is withdrawling the loan cuz the intrest rate is too much, so i replyed and said ok thats fine after 12 months we will refinance it and get a lower rate and she said absolutly not!! THIS IS SO GAY! so now not only cant i go to school, now i cant get my bike either!!! i am so pissed right now i cant believe she would get my hopes up like that then totally blow it away, so now i duno what im gonna do this whole situation sucks so bad out of all the people in my life she should want me in school more then anyone, this shit is absurd. damn i am so pissed off right now this blows lol.

I would not sweat the bike.... talk to the Financial Aid Office... they can possibly help you work around the tuition expenses.

If you have the aptitude and desire to attend college, you can find a means to pay.
There are a ton of grants available also... don't give up yet... go talk to them.

Good Luck.

Foot Note:
When you graduate from college and have a professional job, you won't need anyone to cosign for you any longer

if you work at a good company, they will pay for your education, hence the Hospital, Publix, ect.

true..

that is one thing to look into, even thou most i've heard of require you to work full time.

both school and work full time would be alot.... but worth it in the long run.

Here's a little personal perspective for ya...

Both my wife and I have full time professional careers that require more than 40 hours per week.

We also have been taking 5 grad level courses a semester at USF working on our MBA together.

And don't forget that we have three very active children PLUS two foster children (that's 5 for those that are mathematically challenged )

So yes, working full time and going to school full time is quite do'able.
