Default Biker dies.....

A 30-year-old man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on State Road 54 near Grand Boulevard. Raymond F. Lane of Pecan Drive was headed east in the inside lane on a 1999 Yamaha about 1 p.m., a Florida Highway Patrol news release says. A pickup pulling a trailer tried to cross the eastbound lanes from a private drive toward SR 54's inside left turn lane, the release says. As the pickup, driven by 39-year-old Andrew G. Bork of Boston Circle, crossed Lane's path, the motorcycle struck the left rear side of the trailer. Lane was wearing a helmet, the release says. The patrol says the accident remains under investigation.

The speed limit is 45mph on 54 by Grand. If he was wearing a helmet, he should not have died from hitting something at the speed limit. There's also a Harley dealer right there, so people usually expect to see motorcycles. Something is missing from that story, like the fact that the Yamaha was doing 140mph on one wheel.

I say we use Frankie as a test dummy (he qualifies) to found out if it is true. Lets run him into a wall at 45mph.

You can break your neck EASILY at speeds less than 45mph if you hit the right way. I even witnessed a guy die instantly after a slow speed wreck. His $600 Arai didn't help a bit.
