Default Yamaha unveils electric motorcycle

Japanese motorcycle giant Yamaha unveils the concept model of an electric motorcycle the 'Deinonychus,' equipped with two in-wheel motors to drive both front and rear wheels with a stretch function aluminium frame to change riding style at the Tokyo Motor Show in Makuhari.(AFP/Yoshikazu Tsuno)

Crazy ass japanese designs...
Seems practical only for puttin around a small village.
I doubt it would be possible take it onto a highway.
Its got some tough lookin frame sliders though.

the awd bike has been around for some time. Yamaha had first tested like back in 2000 on one of their 4-stroke motocross bikes. As the back tire slipped the front tire would get hydraulic fluid fed to its drive unit and make the front tire under power. Guess it really never took off.
