Default A very hard decision to make

i recently had a major wreck at jennings gp, and my mother lost it, she freaked out on me blah blah blah, well my dad is not so happy either he wants me to retire for motorcycles for a while... in return he said if i sold the GSXR1000K5 he would pay the insurance on a new Z06, only if i can make the monthly payment...(which i will definatly get another job for that)

so i'm thinking get a Z06 or keep the GSXR1000
i'm leaning toward Z06 right now cause in a couple of years i'll probably get another bike....

i'm asking anyone who had a bike and sold it, How hard is it to resits the urge to ride?? i've gone a month or two but i dont think i can make a year or two

i just sold my bike last week or so and to tell you the truth, its not that hard really. Especially now that everytime I visit the bike forum someone is messed up laying up in the hospital half dead. Z06 man. Then take me for a ride.

whats the point if you have to get another job? Using the funds you have right now could you afford one? Would you like to have an extra 15-20 hour work week?

Honestly bike is cheaper by far. Z06 is nice but if you cant afford it right now dont bother. Its like a college student buying an aston martin because they are "nice", but lacking funds.

i dont quite know how to say this....my current job i only work weekends and i make about $400-$425 a month which just happen to be in the range of monthly payment so if i got a week job i could have a little more $$ for the Z06...plus when all is said and done the GSXR1000 will be worth around 9k i only owe 6k so there is another 3k towards the vette....and i have a set of blk/yel street fairings(complete) that i have seen sell for 1k...soo as for do i have the funds yeah if it means eating peanut butter sandwhichs for dinner instead of fillet migon...but i'll have a Z06

It wouldn't be worth it to me to work a whole extra job just for a Corvette, or any car. I'd use the money towards a house instead.

well my dad kinda owns a car dealership(hes a partner) so i would get the car at dealer cost...

my GSXR1000 is $99 /month for 4 years 5th year it goes to $250...i've only been making min payment to build my credit i got 10k in the bank right now, i owe 6k...

my dad gives me $ to live off of because he wanted me out of the house...i went to school in jacksonville for 1 year got hurt playing football, so i came back home...now i'm at USF and my dad picked out the appt i'm living in...if it was my decision i wouldn't be living in tampa palms...but when i'm not paying for it..i'm not going to bitch plus my dad is gone all the time so i have to drive to clearwater 1 or 2 times a week to keep my mom happy(glorified babysitting)
