Sooo I got a ticket... but I'm confused.
Sooo I got a ticket... but I'm confused as what to do now as the officer was a dumbass and put everything BUT the actual yellow ticket/slip in the envelope. Does this mean I'm off the hook?
Or do I have to now, go take time out of my day and get a copy of it to fax to my lawyer? Those bitches should reduce my fine for me having to take half a day off work to go to the clerk of court if that's what I gotta do.

One of the consequences of such notions as "entitlements" is that people who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their presence.”

Yeah I've already got a lawyer but thanks for the suggestion, Cecil. I just called him and he said that the pig has 5 days to file the ticket. He gave me a website address to track my ticket and see when it gets filed. If it isn't filed within 5 days, I'm off the hook. So I'll be checking the website for the next 5 days. If he files it, I have to go to the clerk of court and get a copy of it and fax it to him.
Which would be gay. I think I shouldn't have to pay for it if the cop's an idiot.
Haha I'll just tell the judge "Listen, I was an idiot for speeding, and the cop was an idiot for not putting my ticket in the envelope. So let's just call it even."

Same exact thing happened to me with my last ticket. I had to go to the dmv and get a copy of the ticket once it was in their hands. The cop remembered to turn in my ticket
But my ticket didnt post on that site. I had to keep going back and forth from work to the dmv to check to see if they had it. Stay on top of it cause things can go bad.
