Default Disaster at jennings

after a good first session ran a 1:30.2 average was 1:31.

i pushed the pace to 1:26.6 completly feeling under control when i feel the rear start spin coming out of a couple of corners....so i'm exiting 8 when i lose the rear, it catches, and i got highsided (about 6-10 feet in the air depending who you talk to) at about 90-100mph...landed on my lower back, driving both heels into the ground, and tumbled for 150 feet(entrance to 9) i almost got run over my 4 or 5 bikes. the impact ripped through my suit, shorts, boxers right to my ass(but no road rash). X-rays showed no broken bones but both ankles are very very very swollen and purple and my knee feels weak and unstable (i tore somthing) bruises from head to toe.....and a mangled bike that i might(might is the key word) be selling... i'll post pics of the aftermath when i get them.

Damn... Sorry to hear that. That's cool that you were on a track though. I would love to invest some time practicing cornering out on a track. Hope you feel better soon. BTW is that you in your sig?

You-za-fast mo-fo!

Sorry to hear about the accident/crash.

Glad to hear you were not worse off.

Sucks about the bike though... was it the K5?

You were wearng a 2-piece siut I take it.... that's what I have too... think I may pick-up a one peice as well... it's scary to think your siut could be ripped off exposing your bare skin.

Get well soon brother... let us know what you need.

Damn everybody wrecks in turn 8. You were running fast as hell, for as high as you flew your lucky you didn't break anything. Is the bike totaled? I know it's discouraging when you wreck but just think how much you'll miss it when you're all healed up and want to get back out there. Sorry to hear you wreck though, get better soon.

Yes, it's a big track.

That sucks man.1:26's are pretty good and respectable times. I crashed in turn 10 before. Crashing sucks! Hurry up and get well.

Yep, sub-30's is when people start crashing. I went down in 8 or 9 (whichever is the right hander). Just a lowside so no damage to me at all.

Glad your relatively OK.
