Default Supercharger 4 bike???

Has anybody done this or heard of anything about this.my friend with a 2001 gsxr1000 is gettin one soon for 65 hundred.its a kit and comes with everything from the manifold to the computer.it makes 250 hourse and its at like 10psi or something.i've never heard of this before he showed me.is this better than turbo or more reliable?whats the down falls of this or is it a pretty good thing to get.i would like to hear ur imput.

Oh yeah... they are quite unique.
However, they produce excessive heat and tend to be somewhat problematic (this coming from a guy with arguably the most problematic bike around ).

If you have any questions, my buddy has an old school gsxr with a super-charger... he would talk your ear off if given half a chance

Not that this has anything to do with it, but I saw an HD yesterday at QSL with a nice lookin turbo setup. Never seen that on an HD before.
