So i was talking to a safety officer the other day , and he said that a company is coming out w/ a motorcycle airbag vest. it has 2 CO2 cartridges on it and a safety chord going from u to the bike, when u get in a crash and u fall away from the bike it inflates 6 inches from your chost and inflates around ur neck. He was saying that the marine corp alright put money into this and r going to maek it manditory for marine corp riders to wear it if they want to ride on base (we already have to wear a gay ass orange construction worker vest as it is).


Now the only thin gi see going wrong w/ this, which the guy told me is, it accidently going off at gas stations or when ur done riding, cuz u forgot to unhook the chord and u step off, and puff u look like the marshmallow man.

i don't tihnk i'll keep my bike on base anymore if they make us wear these. i'm good w/ a jacket, helmet, gloves, jeans, and boots.

 

not a bad thought but i highly dout anyone wouild ever wear one

 

i swear I've seen a ad for these on speed a while ago.


not sure I'd wear one but i do think if there was a way to add something into a normal jacket collar that blew up and held your head up to maybe save your breaking your neck.

 

this thing has been in the works for years, i cant believe they still havent came out with it yet

 

i've seen ads and promos for them and still havent came out with one yet?i can see it helping out alittle,better than nothing.

 

it will help out alot, most injuries are spinal, or head injuries, so i see it as it helping out alot
