I LOVE my daytona 600. I would say try and get it back. Save up for a down payment or something. What color were you going to get?

I HAD the bike, it was a silver/pewter color, he didnt "back out" on the loan per say, he is TRYING to, but what he did do was take the bike and keys from me because he said he dosent want me riding it with his name on teh title........... I loved that bike, ive never fell for something so fast in 2 days, hes being a real dickhead about it and not calling me back or answerring my calls, if he disent call me by tonight (last night i called him and told him he has 24 hours to call me and work with me or im buying this other bike im looking AT)

My buddy wants me to take over his payments on his kawasaki 1997 kawasaki 1100 ninja, a big bike to start on, but if its all i can get ill take it

Ben one day you will see that he is not such a dick head, but more of a guy that had his name on the loan/bike and didnt want anyone messing up his credit.

From what I read, your name was no where on the loan/title at all. This has already been said to death on RX. Good luck on finding another bike and be careful!

Cory he is bieng a dick by not ansering his phone or returning my calls, IM trying to get him off the frickin loan, but im not going to sit here and pass up a good deal on a bike becasue he wants to play hide and seek, i never liked bieng it anyways

And let me ask ya this, if he dosent want to mess up his credit, not letting me have the bike and riding it/making the payments is not the way to do so, him taking the bike, and not having a way to pay for it is going to mess up his credit........

Where you carrying insurance on the bike?

I'm sure there is a completely different story on the other side of the coin.

If YOUR name was never on the loan/title, it was never YOURS to begin with. He was just letting you ride HIS bike.

I worked at two banks and you wont believe the amount of repo's on co-signed bikes and cars. The kid isnt dumb he understands the liability. If you were unable to continue payments and he was unable to make them that can stop him from buying a house or even another car at a decent interest rate which could mean thousands of dollars gone down the drain.

Listen, kiddo.....Anything is better than payments...and for your first..middle..and last bike stay off those Dunlops....they've caused alot of lives.
