Default Need some help figuring out what this is worth.

Below you will see pics of a 2002 R1 that someone ran into the side of a pick truck bed. I'm trying to guage its worth and need yall's help. The bike is definately going to be a project. It was tucked enough to require me to have to use a phone book under the kick stand just to get it up at a good enough angle to take pics. The radiator and yoshi header pipe were crushed, but thank fully that's all the damage up front and the engine is safe. The guy had the whole air pump system removed before the accident. Basically what you are looking at is a good motor(yes its been cranked up and run great on it own) with a little over 6K on it and a clean title. Everything else will need replacing or attention in some manner. The rear rim and tire are not part of this bike and neither is the front end. The rear is spoken for and the front end is on it just so i could roll it around.

Ok, so there's a good engine and clean title. The sub frame may be salvagable. Will need a front end and radiator, frame, possible sub frame, swing arm needs a repaint, harness is ok, needs upper and headlight. I have the stock header with the exup removed that fits the yoshi can seen in the pics.
Here's the good news. The bike has goobs of aftermarket parts on it. Being that is to labor intensive for me to pull the goodies off and put them on another bike i think i'm just going to leave these on. Starting from the front of the bike it has the.....
1. air box mod,(free)
2. Precision Engineered power chip(fools the computer about the air intake temp.),(???)
3. Graves slide stops,(80)
4. Power commander usb with 20 foot cable and maps for the graves slide stops on disk,(330)
5. MPS nitrous system with 10/25/40 shot pills,(750)
6. Barrnett SP3 clutch upgrade with heavy duty springs and a lighter set of springs,(???, but expensive)
7. kevlar rear brake line,(4
8. integrated tail(turn signals moved into the tailight housing), (80)
9. JT sprocket set(15 up front and 43 out back), (???)
10. DID gold X chain, (???)
11. Chrome rear sets, heel plates and levers, (350-400)
12. Yoshi tri-oval SS can, (100)
13. chrome chain guard, (100)
14. chrome stator cover, (150)
15. chrome clutch cover, (175)
16. polished timing chain cover,(free)
17. chrome kick stand, (150)
18. chrome frame sliders, (???)
19. integrated kill switches for the front and rear lights, (cost of labor)
20. carbon fiber tank protector, (75)
21. carbon fiber consol covers (150)
22. and possibly a set of Pazzo shorty levers(160) and galfer ss brake lines(?) up front.
23. scorpio alarm(200)
24. misc. chrome bolts and fastners

I think that's about it. I'm sure there is 3K alone in just these parts, but wanted some real world feedback as to what the bike as a whole would be worth to some of you. This will help me decide whether i want to part it out or not.

Oh, i do have the farings for the bike as well. However they are in need of repairs, but they can mount up to a bike just fine. No upper though.

I tell you what, you show me where you can buy a good/running car kit from an 03 R1 with less than 7K miles on it, and i will eat a pile of your steaming hot shit. You just don't have a clue.

tee hee, I thought all of those prices for the parts were for replacement, not what was good. oops In that case, if you think you can find a frame (non-stolen ) etc. and be sub 4k-3,500 into the whole project to have it running brand new sure, go for it.

i'd part it personally if it could be had for the right price to yield at least a grand selling 80% of the parts. But you may have the time to put into re-building it.

Believe me there is more money in the part out of this bike, but i really just don't have the time or will to have parts strewn all over my place. Especially with 2, soon to be 3, other bikes. Its just too cramped.
