Broke my personal speed limit last night...
So last night I went out and about with a few friends, and my girl on the back. We chilled at a beach for a while, and a friend's Supra said their had beaten 600's before. Well I wanted to see just how fast this 1J supra was. So we went at it. I couldn't hear her honking, so I got a late start, but from 60-145 I was ahead by about 4 cars.
Played with another MK4 single turbo Supra, and easily had him. So much so I was playing with the throttle to stay next to him.
So before last night I had never gone over 130 on the bike. I have over 3K miles under my belt now, and figured I'd do it and see what the bike could do. It gets to 130 very nice... but after 135 it's so much slower. The wind is insane at 145... I've been well over 160 in my Z and had no idea about the wind! All in all it was a very interesting expierence... The wind on some of the bridges isn't fun though. On the way home I was stuck doing 60 with my girl in tow. Very windy.

you are going to catch shit about goin gthat fast on a open highway, but wait till you get 170 and up,

but yeah 600s run ok down low when compaired to the 1000s but where you really see the diff is up top. a newer(2003+) 1000s doesn't lay down till like 170ish. from there up you get that, feels like the tach is creeping. hell my old one pulls really good to about 11k from there to the revlimit at 12.5k is just dies to point it takes i sec to notice when you hit it...lol
oh yeah and don't set up at the speed....lol

haha! It's about time a 600 stuck it to kelly lol. Don't get me wrong she's cool as hell but i was tired of hearing that she could wax any 600cc bike out there i wanna race her w/ my 600 although if you beat her by 4 cars it wouldn't even be a challenge for me then.
Netherless good kill even though she's only pushin like 300 to the wheels right now im waiting for that thing to throw down some big numbers its damn fast for what it is and i give her mad props.

i sat up on the Thunder ace at 11,500rpms in 5th gear racing Ncboost....it felt way better than doing 145mph on the Buell which has absolutely no windscreen.
