Like the subject says...

Which bike should I buy?

I am kicking around the idea of picking up another street bike.
The goal is to get something that is low maitenance and lot's of fun.

It does not need to be the most powerful bike around (that's what the Turbo Busa is for ).
However, I do not desire to go with less than 1000cc.

The bike will be used for Sunday morning and Saturday night rides.... as well as occassionally putting around town.

New or Used.... not really a big factor.

Bikes in consideration (but open to suggestions):

• RC51
• ZX10R
• GSXR1K
• R1

What has been your experience with these bikes?

Who can provide input on the RC51?

I do not anticipating going to nuts with mods.... just basic stuff.

i kow a guy with an rc51 i will try to get his # for you cecil. but he did tell me the 51 radiates heat on youre legs like crazy

 

You already have a sport bike, why not kick back and get some big, beefy twin? Why have two bikes that you have to ride like you're in some bizarre sexual position?

About the RC, I was just talking to a guy that has one and he absolutely loves it, but he's a track whore. No personal experiences with one of course.

Why isn't the 1000rr on the list, any reason?

 

I've also heard nothing but praise about these bikes as well. I'm not much of a Kawi fan but I hear the 05 lines are good stuff. I only had my 05 R1 for a short time but I tell you, thats a whole lotta bike for casual street driving(though Im sure you can very well handle it) and they dont call it the organ donor for nothing!

 

I was thinking the same thing. Im in love with the new 1000rr's. If not that id say the R1. I really do like the looks of them
