I have a 03 Honda RC51 and you have to drill a hole in the plastics, Thats one reason why I havent tried to put them on. Plastics are tooooo damn $$$$$ to screw up. Maybe after a few beers I'll try it, that way If I screw up and Im drunk enough, I'll just sit there and laugh about it and not cry till I sober up....

He's got the idea ^ Plastics ARE too expensive to risk fucking up (if you care about your bike in the least). Cecil helped Cliff with his and they had to cut a teeny bit from what I know. Get someone to help you!

$200 bucks and a stay over night?
For frame sliders?
Dizzam.
Thats ri-fuckin-diculous.

A pair of nice high quality sliders is, at most, $75 bucks.
They are charging over a hundred bucks to cut your fairings?

I would do it myself if I were you...us a Dremel or a circular drill bit and just cut the hole small and work your way bigger until the slider fits.

I mean, unless your ballin n shit, I wouldnt pay that much for a slider install.

check ebay... the first set of sliders I had for my R6 i got with the offsets so there would be no cutting involved. The offsets hold up... believe me Give this a try if you don't feel like cutting. The ones i have now i had to cut into one fairing and shave a little off the other. For the side that I needed to cut a hole into, I used a drill bit to drill the initial hole, then followed up with a dremel tool to shave the appropriate sized hole in the fairing for the slider to slide into. I'm sorry but I would not pay $200 or $100 for that matter to get some sliders on. Hope this helps.

actually if you take the time to do it right, i.e marking where holes need to be and removing the fairings to make sure you have a tight, cleanly cut hole for the sliders it does take several hours, and all of the shops around town have atleast a $60/hour. personally i would rather pay to have it done right, then save a few bucks for a hack job....
