oh i know. just mean what oil people use always seems to end up about 5 pages long. there's whole sites about testing car oil in bikes and shit like that. depends on the bike how often you change it. mine seems to beat the shit out of oil and can tell a difference riding it after only 500 miles. so i just use cheap shit and change it alot. the good 7$ a quart stuff does shift smoother thou. just costs to much for me and still goes to shit about the same time. but i also have a older high miles bike.

to me..change it often is better than what brand you end up using. then chain. i over oil mine I'm sure but i doing like it making noise. tires will wear pretty quick if you ride alot in a straight line. not much worse than having chicken strips. lol but the front lasts a few times compared to the back.

Also, what kind of oil/filter do you guys use? I know the bike has Synthetic in it now. What shops around are reputible, and reasonably priced?
Keep your chain clean and lubed. Check tire air pressure regularly

Tires usually last about 3000 miles on an average.

A rear tire should cost you between $150-$175 installed.

K&N oil filter with Motul 300V full synthetic oil.

Do we really have to fight over who uses the back brake or not?
Do you have to argue over stupid pointless shit on the Internet?

Maxima Chain Wax is the way to go with chain lube.

wd40 isn't a lube. its more of a cleaner but it also seems to eat the rubber o-rings in the chain. so stay away from it.
