stretch prior to riding and massage your hands. Relax your grip on the bars. wiggle your fingers (like playing air guitar) while riding. Take the car if you are killin yourself.

i'm just starting to learn myself and i start to feel sore after like 30-45 minutes of riding, i'm sure it is just getting used to it.

Squeeze those thighs. You could also install risers on the bars. It will bring them up about an inch and believe it or not makes a huge difference on the weight on your hands.
