Getting 100% comfortable takes me some time. I'm one of those people that prefers to feel out the entire bike so I know my limits etc....After riding the 500 around for so long the f4i will keep me happy for a LOOOOONG time. The Ninja was easier to get comfortable on of course. Sucks not being able to put my feet flat on the ground on the f4i but a dogbone might be in my future. I don't think I'll ever get sick of the 600 nor will I ever feel the need for a 1000.

I get so excited when I see another rider and they wave at me or nod. (yeah Im a fucking noob). I've been thinking about modding the 600, maybe throwing a 35 shot on it... but my boss had a better idea. When I get the Z the way I want it, why not sell the 600 and just buy a liter bike. So I think I'll do that, and upgrade it. the feeling I get riding on a non-congested road. Able to sprint to 120 or higher mph in just a few seconds. Laying down on the bike, it almost feels like you're a part of the machine. Almost like I, under my own power, are accelerating so fast. It's wild to say the least.

just remember to be a little scared of it. they get away from you fast.

i guess thats about the best way to look at it. and i won't lie about the slow thing. i went out and got the fasted thing i could for about 3k because i knew i'd be sick of a 600 in no time and kill myself. with this older 1000 i've been on it about 7 or 8 months and 1st gear still feels fast.

but even with that said i was on patterson a few nights after i got it and was like damn i know nothing about getting a bike around a corner. i know it sounds lame but i had to go buy a book to learn enough to transfer what i know about driving cars to the bike world.
