Yeah, its fishy.
First off, the picture is of a 929RR, not a 900RR.
Secondly, in 2003 (like the post says), the CBR was a 954RR.
And 296 miles? Yeah, ok.
Only way to really know if its legit or not is to call the person and meet up with them.
If theres a clean title, hell, i'd buy it.

i almost got caught up in one of these scams when i was looking for a bike the one i saw was a 954 for 3,800 with a bullshit phone number just like this one and so i e-mailed him and he replied that he had just moved to paris(with his bike) because his mom was having surgery and thats why it was so cheap cause he needed the money and he wanted me to send him money in somebodys else's name then he would send me the bike and then when i got the bike for me to call and change the wired money to his name, so as you can tell it was a scam so i threw a curve at him and told him my brother lived close to paris because he is in the airforce and i wanted him to check it out and buy it for me GUESS WHAT??? That was the last e-mail he sent (LOLLOLOLOL) I hate fucking scammers!!!!!!!!!!

You can't always underestimate good deals on bikes....my buddy caught a good deal because some guy was in a tough spot and had to sell his brand new 750 and my buddy got it for really cheap because the guy just had to let it go because of some divorce situation. You just never know!

I got my bike at a hell of a deal. If you could guess the price youd shit ur self. It was a divorce thing and a lady i knew got the bike in the settlement, then sold it to me
