For all you Harley haters, check out their new 9 second bike!
Maybe you got fired up when Andrew Hines' V-Rod® set the NHRA Pro-Stock Motorcycle record with a 6.991 (ET) quarter mile. Maybe you like the smell of blue smoke and testing your reflexes as the Christmas tree lights go green. Whatever it is that motivates you to the drag strip, we've got just the machine for you.
The VRXSE Screamin' Eagle® Destroyer™ is H-D's first out-of-the-box, drag racing motorcycle. Based on the VRSC™ family and tuned by Custom Vehicle Operations, this bike can do a quarter mile run in under 10 seconds.
A limited quantity of VRXSE Screamin' Eagle® Destroyer™ models will be produced. Contact your local Harley-Davidson dealer for a chance to be one of the first to own this limited quantity machine.

I personally don't like the looks of the V-Rod line, but it's pretty cool that they're offering a factory 9 second bike. Sure, it's a limited quantity factory bike, but it's still factory.
Their new 2006 line has a bunch of cool new shit too. The Softail line gets 200mm back tires, so no more skinny 140's, and the Dyna line has 6 speed transmissions and fuel injection stock. They also have some bad ass old school new Dyna called the, "Street Bob," which is totally hot looking.

With a slick and a wheelie bar... most the new sport bikes could go in the 9's.
The ZX10R is well into the 9's bone stock.
Bikes are freakin SICK right off the show room floor...

The Harley's have a very strong presence with the "real" fast bikes.
