If you give us all the info we might be able to help. What does it do? Will it turn over? Do you hit the button and get nothing? What have you checked? For all we know it could be out of gas. So you can give more info and get some help or just get bent out of shape because somebody asked if you just got it. If you did just get it you may want to start with the previous owner he may be able to help you.

 

Before you go to the dealer, check the obvious things: You would be surprised how many of us have had these problems

Kickstand cutoff switch, loose connection in the on/off switch, low battery(enough for lights), blown fuse in the fuse panel, neutral interlock switch(put the bike in gear and rock it back and forth then put it back in neutral)

All of my recent exp is with Suzuki's, but most have the same features

 

see now i was going to say stuff like check the fuses to make sure they aren't burnt and ask does the starter even sound like it is tring to start the bike but i am one of those people on TR with no common sense.

 

yea my common sense been lacking. But dealer picked it up when i was away from house. So im sure itll be fixed ill throw an update

 

It's the flux-capacitor... seen it a million times

Bike is up and running. was the battery. Hope she starts tomarrow. Damn rain.
