One of the consequences of such notions as "entitlements" is that people who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their presence.”

Thanks or hooking up the link.
I don't know why, but i expected more for this. 545hp and about the same weight can only get you 250mph??? Was the bike just spinning the whole way done the track? Did he even open it up? Did he ge past 4th gear? Did he not go any faster for fear of being ripped off the bike? Was he running a 50+ tooth rear sprocket?
Seems odd that a 500BHP lambo can go 205ish all the while weighing in at quadrouple the weight, yet this bike that's been punched out and blown can't go much faster? Hell, the McClaren did a proven 235+ all stock. Why does the bike seem so slow to me?

Can the Lambo go from 0mph to 250 in less than 1 mile?
Speeds above 200mph become increasing difficult to reach.
There's an algorithm used to calculate an estimated top speed based on a number of variables, I'll see if I can find it.
You would probably be surprised what it takes to go 200mph.
So when some genius says his Busa or ZX12R goes over 200mph... chances are they are wrong.
Here's a chart that is relavent to the Busa that is based on gearing:
GEAR RATIO = SPEED IN GEARS
Gearing 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th
16/39 77 104 132 157 178 194
16/40 75 101 129 153 173 189
16/41 73 99 126 150 169 184
16/42 72 97 123 146 165 180
