Yes they can sieze the car or bike with REPEAT offenses. That would mean you would have to get caught more then once in 5 years. Just like with a DUI after the first offense the punishment gets worse. I race had have raced in the past but alot of people race in the wrong spots and were there is traffic. Just like the poor guy on the Busa that hit that car at 100+mph. You dont go 100mph were someone can just pull out directly in front of you.

I've yet to hear of a single person being busted for street racing that wasn't actually street racing. I'm not saying it couldn't happen but seriously....

Yeah I think cops are using good judgment, they're not just pulling everyone over and taking away licenses. That wasn't the idea.

A friend of mine got one and he wasnt racing and the cop swore he saw him do it just because he did know who it was and wanted to get someone. And they took another friend of mine which was a passanger in the car to jail and also gave him and street racing ticket which was trown out. The point is they dont have to prove you did it and you cant fight it because its his word aginst yours.

Actually they do have to prove it in court. Either way time to carry a bottle of Jack.

this just gives the people doing it more of an incentive to run from the cops .
