Default my vent for the month...WEAR YOUR GEAR!

I know it's hot as hell outside, but I swear to God if I see one more idiot doing 100 down US 19 and NOT wearing gear, I am going to scream!!! I think by far the most shocking thing I saw this week was a chick with no shoes on! Oh, and now that I am on the subject of Stupid women, WTF is wrong with these chicks riding bitch and wearing "come fuck me heals" ? I am all about fashion just as much as the next girl, but come on!!! Personally, I don't think the cops are going to comment on how "pretty" my shoes are much less the color of my toenail polish as they are picking up my body part off the road! THINK people...your life is at stake, wear your damn gear!*jumping off my soap box now*~Barbie

I dunno I can barely stand wearing my helmet in this heat I can't imagine wearing a jacket, jeans, and gloves. I'll be soaking wet anywhere I go. I kinda have a sweat/swampass problem....

No, I'm still going to ride in a wife beater. My girl was on the back just the other night wearing some fuck-me heels too. I wasn't doing 100mph on US 19 though, so I think I'm excused.

It is hot as hell outside but I still wear my gear, I actully thought about not wearing it to run down the road to get lunch but its not worth it to me. I've already wrecked once without go so I wear it religiously now. I guess sometimes people have to learn the hard way like I did. Regardless I sweat my ass off but atleast my office has AC. Edit: I am however wearing shorts....

When my buddy Larry got his leg ripped off on by a woman not paying attention at the corner of 56th Street and Riverhills in Temple Terrace...

It was a hot day... but I really don't remember sweat being the issue.
He survived, his helmet had major damage, his jeans were obviously destroyed.

If it's too hot for me to ride with gear... I will not ride.

As adults... make your own decisions....

I will stick to the following:

Dress for the Wreck.. Not for the Ride.
ATGATT.

Why...
You are going to crash!

While we are on this subject can anyone suggest a pair of breathable mesh or similar pants with armore that I can put over work cloths and removed easily when I get to work?

I always wear my gloves and helmet regardless. People will wear their gear at their own discretion. Just let it be.
