Alright my parents have been hassling me about gettin a bike, they keep saying that the insurance is so much more than my car is....

and other than that my records clean

does anyone know what kind of monthly insurance price i might be lookin at?

for full coverage on a sport bike @ your age with an accident, likely $400-500 month

Good luck kid.. I tried to get liability for my 04 750 last year (was 18 ) and they wanted $300...

I havnt had insurance on any of my bikes... 02,04, and 05 gsxr 750... But i also dont leave my bikes outside anywhere.

So good luck.

Buy an older bike and keep super minimal coverage. You'll never afford full coverage especially with any newer bike. I pay $500 a year for full coverage on my 2000 but i'm 27. Check with Progressive.
