Default another one for the dirt guys/girls

so my quad should be ready to ride hear with in the next week or so i am waiting
for some custom parts. in the mean time i was thinking about a power adder. the motor is a yamaha 426 4-stroke. i was interested in a turbo only because squeeze would melt the piston i would assume. has anyone ever turboed a 4-stroke? or does anyone have a website to direct me to?

thanks, and i will be making a thread letting any one that's interested know when and where me and my buddy are gonna be riding. the more people stirring shit up the better.

B, i got an R1 motor coming in in a few days. Don't be a puss, step up to the plate and show just how fast that thing can go with the 1000cc motor kit crammed in there.

That's why i suggested such. I'll be picking up my 60lbs. shifter kart tomorrow. Next i'll be trying to find someone that is good with mettal to help me make it fit. Then its on to make a video of my death......nothing quite like trying to go 200mph at 2 inches off the ground.

+1 on the kart ride.

i found a few kits on the net. i'm looking for an inexpensive set up that i can do most of in my garage. i found the bolt 'n go kits were around $3900 on up to $4400. i may find it to be too much $. for that kind of bread i could buy a 600 and work on cramming that in there............ dirty thoughts.

Here's a Turbo Busa Powered Snow Mobile... not a Quad, but similar enough to be interesting...

The text below is an excerpt from the owner... not me:

1000' Speed run
1/4 mile
2000'

The track spins very freely, they only weigh about 20 lbs with studds. I know a wheel is better, but these speed track are the closest thing to that. My goals are:
180 mph 1000'
190 + mph 1/4
over 200 in 2000'

I should have about 6-7% Hp advantage over you guys.(Florida) Because of air density (20F) when we run. So if Kev is right at 550+ Hp +33=583 hp

The track will hook better than a tire, much larger contact patch.

dayum! haha, what a ride!

Bigb, if you still wanna track it i'd turbo the YZ motor. People would shit bricks if you rolled up to the starting gates and they saw that shit hanging of the motor. Good luck getting the holeshot though as you'd spin all the way to the first corner. LOL.
I just think a turbo kit on the YZ would be much more agile than a huge 600 motor stuffed in the frame.

the turbo would definitly keep the weight down. i'm not to into tracks i like trail riding a little more.i think the 600 would be an overkill as well, but i love overkill. nothing like doing 50mph on rough terrain with trees 8inches in each direction.

cecil dats' a bad bitch. any pics of it in action?
