Arrow Ti TRS shorTy!....K5

well, after MANY hours of trial, error, grunt, cursing, sweating, and beer drinking, it is done.

a big thankyou to gilley for his exhaust (all-Ti trs, with ti midpipe, endcan, baffle, and caps), and also for his unrentless help with the canister (i couldnt have done. this WITHOUT him, as he did almost 100% of the canister chop)

it turned out AWESOME.

13" Ti TRS system; with

SATO racing Ti 3-point hangar

power commander pc3usb (WHAT a difference!! low end fluff is 100% GONE!!)

Whoever made that shorty stock exhaust needs to learn how to hide the hanger and strap a little better... Maybe weld a piece onto the inside of the pipe and hang it from that. Aside from that it looks hella cool.

yeh, i have seen them... But i think any normal length pipe looks retarded on the K5... The highmounts look even worse... The angle doesnt flo w/ the bike IMO.

Shorty looks best.

um yeah.

but the whole point is that i made this a shortee myself. (with help of one friend, last fri nite). anything exiting higher (i can see for 3" higher) is purely for looks, and doent help performance whatsoever. (if it has any difficult bends, it will negate most gains)

you mean "hi exit,?"

that's what im still going for; about 3" higher @ the tip only....

(for now, im smitten however)

below is what i started with.....

Not a big fan of the shorty pipes, but anything is better than the 05 stock pipe.
