Default FHP got me tonight

got pulled over tonight for not haveing my tag in the right place $76.50 was my ticket that sucks didnt even know he was behind me i was turning and just about 2 seconds before i was getting ready to wheelie and then(whooop whooop) and i was like FUCK!!! then for about 1 second i thought about running but then i thought nope he's prob. got my tag # already so i pulled over and thanking him in a way for hitting the sirens when he did or i would of got a even bigger ticket for the wheelie but i really can't hate to much on him he is just doing his job my tag is in the wrong place and no light on it so anyway gave me a ticket then was looking at my bike telling me what a nice bike it was and how dangerous they are and then i went on my way

Damn. I was wondering when all of you boys were gonna get busted for your illegal tag placements. The first thing cops do when they get behind you is run your tag, and when they see there is no tag visible...well...it sounds like you've just experienced it! live in an area where there are cops ALWAYS behind me so I could NEVER get away with that in a million years!

AHAHAHAHA, no shit man, I just got pulled yesterday at lunch.
The cop says "son, we're gonna have to do something about that tag, I can't read it."
I looked down and behind me at the tag and go "oh shit, it did it again. It rubs against the tire and bends it up."
The cop says, "Pobabably from doing wheelies huh?"
I was like "haha, no, its from passengers, I have my rear suspension set soft and passenger make it bottom out over large bumps."
I proceeded to grab the tag and bend it back out and he said "Thanks, have a great day."

No license check or anything, total elapsed time was like one minute.

You guys are retarded. If you're going to have a tag on the bike, just put it in the right damn spot. I don't get it.

Good try though

Seriously though, if you're gonna go through all that effort to keep the plate from being seen, why even put it on in the first place?

well in my case i throw out my rehearsed BS story and i bend it back and they let me off. but those times i dont wanna pull over i dont have to worry about my tag being exposed.

You can make/buy a flip up tag holder... it ain't hard to make or install

I just sawed the huge piece of plastic sticking out of the bottom of my Aprilia's holder... It looks just fine now. My Gixxer holder is still ugly even with the bottom sawed off, but the bitch ain't a chick I take to Burn's, if you know what I mean.
