Default rearset

ok i was in the mist of taking off my rearsets and i unbolted then then i noticed the is some type of ball bearing type thing (on the left rearset) a rod im assuming is a link of some sort but i cant get the damn thing loose im sure im going to get blasted for not not giving a good description but who give a fuck.

LOL that's the replacement for your shifter. Did the rearsets come with instructions? You'll have to take off the old rod and stick on the new rod.

Sooo tempted to start some kind of rod joke here but I'll be good.

no im buying a guys oem rearsets friday and i wanted to take them off tonight buy i cant get the rod off

oh, no problem...don't forget to lube those balls as good as you lube the rod...wait, I am sure you already had that one covered....
