LED bling bling license plate screw lights
so i picked up a pair on ebay to illuminate my license (my undertail kit didn't come with a white light for the plate). i'm NOT going to use them in the screw holes, i was going to drill a hole from inside the tail and shine one of those bitches down on the plate. anyone had any experience with these things as far as brightness, etc? i'm of course going to hook it up and see how i like the brightness BEFORE i go drilling, but i'm fucking lazy as a pregnant sloth and i wanted to hear opinions before i have to break out the wrenches.

How much did you pay for that kit? Any kind of leds will work, I bought some at work, $5 for 6 (red though), haven't gotten around to finding a place to put them though.

got them on ebay, $12 with S&H. i actually want it to light up the entire plate and not be too dim or too bright. i actually like my bike to look like it's got a clean finish, i HATE tails with the plate bolted and bent down and things like that.

here's a pic of my undertail. there isn't much space between the plate and the brake light, so i really don't want to screw it up.

i used the cheap ass led's they sell at discount auto. they come with the double sided tape and they are clear. the led is white. they light up my hole plate.

just checked the link, it's gone because the seller is no longer a registered seller (funny, he had great feedback and was good to me). just go onto ebay and search for led lights, they'll be tons of them.
