Default Looking for cheap sportbike

Wanting a cheap 600cc sportbike...older Katana, CBR, GSXR, whatever. As long at it runs good and reliable, looks don't matter.

Wanting to spend no more than $1000 or trade for stuff and cash.

My buddy has a '93 Yamaha FZR 600 he's selling. Bike is in good condition, and runs awesome (can get up on my gixxer). He's is looking for $1600 for it. To be honest you aren't going to find a 600CC Sportbike that runs for under $1K. Let me know if your are interested and i'll give you more info.
