Default Purchasing a new bike few ???

I have been looking at bikes resently and i decided to buy a gsxr1000.. I went to the dealer to see what the O.T.D price would be and they basicaly selling me the bike as if I were financing.. The reason i wanted to buy it cash was because i was told i would get a better deal and i wouldnt have to pay sticker is this true, and if so where can i go to get a decent deal..

Normally most places take some money off when you pay cash cause they are getting the money right there so they are like hell why the hell not...though I'm not sure how it works over here in clearwater...though I bought my bike from barneys and cause the dude knew I wanted the bike and since it was an 05 and he couldn't get it to me that day he took about a 1000 bucks offa my bike...

Cash is King.

Shop around and save a few thousand.

The last new bike I bought listed at $11K.... paid $9300.

Good luck!

I bought the bike from Motorsport of Tampa on Florida Ave.

There really is not much difference in the 04 to 05 models... not enough to pay for IMHO

call around, like sky in lakeland, cycle riders in orlando. sometimes it's worth the drive to save a couple thousand. FYI Sky has some 05's they're trying to get rid of.

call out to orlando to cycle riders, i wish i could remember the name of the guy idealt with but i got my Daytona for 7200 OTD when MSRP was 8000. Before you call look online, try hondaeasttoledo.com call 'em up and ask about shipping a bike down, then use that to negotiate local.
