haha first time i ran out of gas
well wednesday when i took my tank off to clean the air filter i guess i forgot to hook up the low fuel light wires. well i had took it out to test the clutch and it acted kinda funny. so i said hmm i will take the tank off when i get home to see if i forgot to hook up any vacum lines or something. i get with in a 1/4 mile of the house and it stalls. shitty. get it running again and make it a little farther and that was it. pushed it home and it started to rain too.
get it in the garage and look in the tank and she is bone dry. look under the tank and i see two wires just hangin. plug them in and low fuel light comes on. no shit . hahaha so i put fuel in it and battery doesn't have enough juice to turn it over any more. so now i charge it up. urekka it works. hahaha
just a little wetter and a little smarter.

Yeah, running out of gas sucks. I've run out twice in the past. Once we were 5 miles from any gas station. I had to have an SV650 tow me to a gas station. The second time I ran out about 1/2 mile from a gas station and had to push the bike in full leathers in mid-day in the middle of summer. Both times really sucked.

yea well it may not be hot out there but it is humid and i am fat. i don't like walking that far as it is much less pushing a bike and then up a steep ass driveway.

I ran out of gas before. Took forever, for the group to get back to me. They didn't even know I ran out of gas.
