Question Some Oil Change Q's...

I apologize in advance if this is a really Noob question but I'm going to change the oil myslef on the bike tommorow and was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers before I fuck something up.

I have all the oil and the filter but I was wondering where I could get a new oil drain plug washer or if I even need to change it?

Also a filter wrench, I saw one at Wal-Mart that looked pretty small, is it a special kind of wrench to use only?

Thanks for any input, this is the first time working on the bike, even if it is only changing the oil, But ya gotta start somewhere right?

I usually replace the crush washer... it cost like $0.33... any dealership will have them... I actually have a spair on my ket chain.
A small filter wrench from where ever sould be fine.... an old belt works too.

Have fun and take your time.

Be sure to put some oil in the filter and around the gasket / seal.
Don't over tighten the plug or filter.

I appreciate the offer Charles but don't worry about it, my friend is going to help but I'm kinda skeptical about some things he said.

Like Cecil said, Be sure not to overtighten the drain plug
FYI, the specs call for 16.5 ft/lbs only for the drain plug
