I had no real expectation going into it...
This will provide a baseline going forward.

My first run was horrible...
I red-lighted, then spun the entire track, wert through the trap at 96.85mph.
Got beat by Eric on his stock Busa

The second run was fun... that's the one in the video were I go against the other Busa (Eric from TampaBikers). Got my best R/T of the night and a little pay-back with Eric

The third run I went solo... absolutely embarrassing R/T... 1.205 however I had my fastest trap speed on this one at 114.89.

The fourth and final run was fun. This is the second video... the one where I basically wheelied the the entire track. I lined up against an R1. He won the race.

Here are the stats:
1 win
2 losses
1 bye

My apologies Sir.

I received a call on short notice and basically hopped on the bike and ran down there.

Expect to see a thread in the near future to plan another Wednesday Night excursion to the Dragstrip.... and you will be explicitly invited.

I would recommend that you tape all your runs if you really want to improve. The R/T is not that big of a deal when you start riding at the track, that will come as you get better. Start with trying to be consistent. My first trip to the track with my bike I went 11.8-12.0, with practice I went 10.89 on the same bike with a 6.9 in the 1/8

That's the plan... to get better and have fun.

I was happy not to have broken anything...

However, I do believe I lost another exhaust bolt... notice the tapping sound on the way home.

330'............ 4.45
1/8............. 6.615
MPH............ 114.89
It's really hard to ride/drive something with that kind of power. I need just as much practice driving my Civic. We should run sometime. 6.8@112mph. You would still beat me but atleast i could say i hung with a turbo Busa.
