I keep my ignition locked and put a master lock on the forks. I was thinking about buying a disc lock or two also. The Colt and the Ruger also help.

 

I am sure that a bike thief would appreciate you leaving your weapons on the bike as well............ Those don't help unless they are pointed at them, which most likely will never happen since they will have the bike gone before you realize what's happening.

I know they make specific locks for "harley" forks as well.....

 

Lojac. It costs less then $600 installed. Is your bike worth $600?

 

Take ignition or fuel pump fuse w/you when ever your not on your bike or make a kill switch for the pump.

for my 2fiddy i use nothing. outside not even locked up..

but i live in bradenton. and where it is u cant see it or even know its there unless u walk threw my car port to the back shop(have to get by 2 vans, a 350, and a firebird

 

bikes are in the garage with tires in the way of the door and the sliding door has cars parked in front...pretty secure...saw some bastards checking it out the other day though

 

get get a suicide bomber to watch youre bike and where a mofo comes near the bike they tackle them and blow them the fuck up

here's what i got. armored cable lock.



that goes through the frame and around a steel girder in my apartment's parking garage. cover goes over that.

i also have insurance, AND there are two or three sport bikes in my garage that aren't locked up at all. you don't have to be faster than the bear, just faster than the guy next to you.
