Default track with bike!!!!!!!!

okay guys i went to the track on the bike for the first time. i still a fairly new rider but i said fuck it lets see. so going into this i was thinking i may run high 12's low 13's just because it is an 99 carbed 600 cbr and it has 30000 miles on it. well this is how it worked out

my first run i was all nervous and just didn't wanna stall it or anything. so i take off after i had some problems staging. i ran a 12. 308 at 114.36 mph trap. i was like cool.
second run i am a little bit more comfortable and i go to do my burn out again and all is good until i start to role out of the burn out and it does a wheelie. now i am nervous again but i continue on. i stage and this time i give it a little more gas off the line. i wheelie through first and it sets down so i think i am in the clear go into second and it wheelies again. so this time i said fuck and just kept in it anyways. so i wheelied about half way down the track. hahaha well i turned a 12.627 at 114.81mph
third and fourth runs were better i kept turning 12.2's at 115mph

run number five i decide not to be the first one in line this time and watch some others go. i was pretty comfortable now and i deside to try the tower side lane this time. i line up and i go. it felt niiiiiiiicccccccccccccceeeeeeee
then i get the slip. drum roles........... 11.960 at 116.50mph sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my final run i repeat every thing from the 5th run and except i had a better reaction time on this one. and i turned a 12.008 at 115.32 mph!!!!!

my 5th and 6th runs i had a 2.017 and a 2.026 60 ' time which i kept improving through out the night. my first runs where 2.3's 60' times.

ohh yea the fog also rolled in thick on my last two runs too so the track had a little moisture on it.

not a bad night running the bike for my first time.

Next time just experiment with higher rpm launches because launching from idle slows you down drastically since our 600cc pos engines take forever to build up power in the lower end of the rev range. From playing on the streets I've found that about 3k or 4k launches are good for my bike. Just make damn well sure you SLIP the clutch out or else your ass will look like my leg. Next Thursday wanna do it again. I should be good to go by then.

I ran 11.2 @ 123mph on my bro's F3 slipping the clutch at about 7k rpm off the starting line. I think the 60' was a 1.8x.

Shit, I used to launch my Magna from 7,000rpm and it has way more torque than those 600's. Then again, my front end won't come up on the Magna quite as easily and I really think a clutch should be punished
