SV is out of commission for a while :(
Cool, well if we pull it apart I'll find out what it is and post pics.

If you spun a crank bearing, send the crank to falicon. They can fix it for you. The same goes for the cams. If the cyl. are scored, get a set of big bore pistons and bring the cyl. and pistons to Eislies Machine shop(off Broadway). They can bore it for you. If they arent scored, just replace the rings while your in there as a safety measure. Busa pistons are a good option if the cyl. walls are not scored, but try to stay with a lighter cast piston(stk busa) as opposed to a heavier forged piston(aftermarket busa). You'll loose HP with heavier pistons. While your at it you might as well us a thinner head gasket to increase compression.
If you need any help, let me know.

Does it affect you that much that some random guy 1500 miles away went and paid his own money for a 1000?
Do we really have to fight over who uses the back brake or not?
Do you have to argue over stupid pointless shit on the Internet?

Not a problem for normal riding, but they arent good for prolonged wheelies.

a friend of mine used to have a TL1000 and would wheelie it for days. so its not just the v-twin. the pick-up sounds right to me.
