So i finished the class on sunday all i can say is damn i learned alot and missed alot also but it also taught me that i might not be ready for my f4i but i am going to take it slow and get the hang of the bike and see from there but anyway i just need to get a battrey now i jump it and every time i take the cable off the battery it dies so its pretty much dead i also got alot of cosmo stuff to do but i wont be doing that until after i get the hang of the bike and feel like i am ready. i wanna say thanx for recommending the class tons-o-fun

 

Sure it's the battery? As long as it's charging it should keep running - might want to make sure that the regulator / stator are good.

its the battery.. i had the same problem with the 2fiddy when i only rode it around the yard for 5 mins. before i got my lic.. just go buy a new battery. the're like 28 bucks at walmart

check your stator, honda's are known for it. also they wont charge below 4k RPM, other brands are between 2 and 3k.

 

so a bike won't stay running without a battery hooked up?









cars do guess i always just guessed a bike should too

 

nope.. i think the really old ones will.. even older than my 73(and it has a kick start on it).. so u have to have a good battery or the bike will run like shit
