Unhappy 2001 R6 for sale

As many of you know my boyfriend's bike was stolen and they tried to steal mine but couldn't get it started I'm assuming, and I ended up finding it next to my building. WELL I've decided to sell it because I don't want to risk it being stolen because apparently my apartment isn't as safe as I thought.

Its a 2001 blue R6 with a yoshimura exhaust and jet kit. It alo has BRAND NEW pirelli diablos and the oil was just changed.... Hey Steven... wanna vouch for me?? It has a few cosmetic issues, but it rides great and only has 6800 miles. If it doesn't sell for $4500 within the next week I'll put it on ebay... probably on Monday if not gone by then. It also has a salvage title, but even though this supposedly affects the price, I don't notice much of a difference between salvage and clear titles when it comes to ebay, and since you can register it in FL, it shouldn't play much of a role.

If interested call me @ (813)810-1881, email at yamar6@aol.com, shoot me a PM, or get me on AIM ookoolaidyoo.

Bump and good to see you got your bike back. Wish I could say the same about our GSXR.

Before I bought it it was wrecked and claimed for insurance, threrefore they gave it a salvage title. Titles are all about paperwork. There are plenty of clear title bikes out there which have been wrecked badly and fixed, just never claimed because lets face it.... how many people actually get insurance to cover their sportbike when they go down?

so that's a "rebuilt" title? A salvage title bike would still need to be inspected as long as it wasn't a c.o.d.

Since you've been riding it I would gues you already had it inspected and registered / tagged as rebuilt?

No its still a salvage title, you can register them in FL. Other states require that it goes through inspection, but not here.
