I've got Sidi boots for my more "spirited" rides, and alpinestarts "stunt" shoes for regular riding - no problems with either. I don't like wearing tennis shoes on the bike.

i ride barefoot. so all i have is a big callous on the top of my left foot. but at least my shoes stay clean

but I don't have them and don't think I'll ever get them, just saw them the other day and was like someone needs to make a normal looking shoe that holds up in a crash. these are the closes I've seen so far.
normal being compared to the nike's in the stores today. which again I'm guessing you don't like.....haha
