One of the consequences of such notions as "entitlements" is that people who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their presence.”

ah man...When I rode passenger with my one friend he preferred that I held on to the gas tank always (he was a very small guy)...and from then on I always held on to the tank...I got on my buddy's R1 once and he's like "hold on" and I held on to the gas tank while he hit 130 mph in seconds. I nearly slipped off even though I made it....but from then on (depending on how fast they were riding.....i held onto whichever....Glad I never experienced falling off the back of anything. BUT like I tell my friends today, I'll never ride bitch again after having my own

i have fallen twice. first time was my first time hoping on a bike, typical dumb stupid kid getting a bike and thinking, I can ride it ok, no big thing. Got about 5 feet before I dumped the clutch rolled the front end up and fell off the back and landinf face first onto dale marby. so minor scarpes and bruises. I made sure for a newb to have all my gear before trying to ride.

second time was about 6 months ago I was going down 275 around the downtown exit and it started to rain, hit a puddle of standing water. sent the bike to the left and me to the right. slide across three lanes of traffic, rubbed against the concrete barrier wall for a few senconds and stopped about 15 ft from the ass end of those metal guard rails. Had a couple of broken ribs and plenty of bruises, but thank GOD no road rash. My lid didnt even have a scartch on. My cloths though were pretty f-ed up.
