met a vette up close and personal @ 60 mph today
Was cruising down 19 today to try on jackets @ west coast powersports. I'm in the left lane cruising @ about 60, red vette decides he wants my lane more than I do, I tried to get away but he was to quick for me, alas he made contact with my tight peg, fought the tank slapping for a couple seconds, got it under control and dropped 2 gears and grabbed throttle, fully intending to chase him down. Apparently he did realize that he hit something and pulled over.
After spending some time getting my temper under control and resisting the urge to throw him out into traffic, we talked, he apologized profusly and I had him follow me to the dealer and order the new peg to replace the one he fucked up.

That sucks man - another reason why I #1) never ride in anyones blind spot and #2) have enough power on tap to get ahead of him before he gets to me....
Glad he pulled over though!
Glad he pulled over though!

Man that's crazy! And yeah, at least the guy pulled over. Glad you weren't hurt, or else I wouldn't have met you last night over at Old Chicago.

sounds like the guy just made a mistake and owned up to him. props to the vette guy for stopping and buying the new peg.
and glad to hear no one went down or got hurt.

Glad you didnt get hurt, but try driving a Vette, the blind spot is a little bit different. I'm sure he looked back but didn't even see you. Glad he owned up to his mistake though. Still it was his fault. That was cool that he bought you a peg and apologized though.

I cant believe the vette guy didnt even look over his shoulder before changing lanes, considering he rides as well.
