Thumbs up Thanksgiving Morning Ride - 9am @ Marathon

Alright ladies...

Before you eat yourselves into a food induced coma...
Let's do a quick north run.

Date: 11/25/2004 (Thanksgiving)
Time: 09:00am (KSU NLT 9:30am)
Location: the Marathon on SR54 & Collier Road

Back in plenty of time for Turkey, football and a nap

nah I'm not too worried about it...I'm a trooper! But I'm heading out there early and will be there for a while so if any rain comes I don't plan on getting caught up in it

the rain is going to start tonight - and go through tomorrow AM - how far is Palm Harbor for you? You eriously may want to think this over if you haven't ridden in the wet before.

Especially with no gear but a helmet and motorcross gloves.....

Ah, the joys of owning a bike... Looks like I'll be taking the cage to Grandmas house. At least then I can take home leftovers.

Hey Krys, riding in the rain is a real PITA, especially that far, you should see if someone can give you a ride.

Not to mention - how much time have you spent behind the wheel of a car in the rain - you live in Fl so obviously unless you have a cheauffur you have experienced it.

How well do you think most drivers see in the rain? OK, now in heavy rain? You think they are going to see you on your 500 cruising along soaking wet, taking it slow, easing it through corners, so as not to end up on your ass, as they go flying along with 50 foot visibility or less at 50 mph.....

Get the picture? Get a ride or take a cab!
