Default Accesories: gear, performance, other. Help!

Hey guys need some help finding the best products so I don't waste my money on the wrong stuff. I've decided I'm just done with cars (at least temporarily lol) and also in an attempt to save money I've decided to just stick with the bike but there are some things I would want to have if I didn't have a car.

I was reading an article in the magazine 'BIKE' which is European based I believe and they were talking about this shirt that was really lightweight but yet had removable padding in the needed areas just like jackets have. This would REALLY come in handy since its so hot here. If anyone knows of a place to get these let me know.

Also, for riding in the rain I know theres plenty of rains suits so no biggie there but my visor always gets EXTREMELY foggy....

found this.... anyone know if its any good?:
fog shield
I would also like something to clean the visor and I know there are plenty of sprays to clean off the bugs and dirt which build up so quickly, but I'm constantly hearing that most of them don't do anything...??

As far as peformance thats not needed of course but hell it'd be nice . I read that lighter wheels (ie. Al or Mg) are not only stronger but also offer much better handling. This seems kind of hard to believe but if its true I may get some rather than painting my rims like I had planned. Beyond that it seems like there are a million things to do and they are all super, super expensive so I'm just wondering which things are the bes buy for the money. I know people will probably say "well that depends on what you like". But honestly I like straight away speed just as much as the twisties. Also which tires are better for handling? Is there much of a difference? I have D208s which I'm sure are stock and I used to hear were good, now I'm reading theyre no good and that I should get perelli (sp) or something. But hey maybe they're just trying to get my business

anyways guys as always I appreciate it, and if you have any other tips or recomended gear for someone who has no car (tank bags...?) Lemme know!

-jess

the shirt? no idea.

Performance: Pirelli Diablos are tons better than those dunslops you've got. Get a Full Exhaust system, Hindle is good yet inexpensive. Jet Kit, and Air Filter.

I buy from RTM, they treat me good, and i've never had a problem.

Gear, buy a jacket with good armor(ex. AlpineStars textile) They also make womens riding jeans as well. Get some boots, over the ankle, black is best mathes everything.

Storage/Trunk? Use a book bag, works as good as anything.

If you need more specifics let me know i can try and find some stuff for ya.

shirt: i seen a some jackets with removalable pads like my joe rocket ballistic 3, i never removed it though to much zippers and not point. there are under shirt ,and water proof btw any text. isn't water proof.

tire: i'm using M1 . its warm up pretty fast and sticky
performance: what he say ^^ fullsystem are nice but slip on is cheaper,

storage : u can get a trunk kit for ur bike around on here. i used to had a trunk in CBR F2, its really handy. u can put stuff in ur jackets but ur jacket going to weight like 50, 80 lbs , imagine wearing that for 5 hours

fog. : try to breath though a tube. or wear a Special thin ski mask, or just ride without visor

edit oh yeah and the most easy performance mod is gears. get some bigger gears.

Light Weight Wheels are the single best mod you can do to your bike. You notice them with everything you do. Acceleration, Brakeing, Handeling, and Top Speed. I didnt think wheels made that much of a difference either, until I got mine. You'll notice the difference of the Wheels more then you'll notice an exhaust. I wouldnt get Magnesium though. It's too britle for the street. Stick with Aluminum or Carbon Fiber.
