Default Gs500F

How do you guys feel about this bike, i went up to the dealership the other day and sat on one, seemed confortable and all, and its decently priced at 4,999.. This will be my first bike, i already read the sticky at the top of the page...

Just woundering if any of you have any experience with this bike, or if i should go bigger...

I dont have any experience with that bike in particular, but if its going to be your first bike, and you want to get into sportbiking, I would highly recommend NOT spending 5 grand on it. Find a used one, learn on it, then get a newer model 600. You wont be dissapointed.

I like the GS500's. I think they make great starter bikes to learn how to really ride. If you just want to pose, then you might as well get something bigger.

I've always thought the GS500's were sweet looking bikes. They also have a very comfortable feel. Thumbs up!
