Default Best way to transport a bike?

What is the best way?

I'm moving to PA and I am considering sending everything I own by train. Luckily that only calls for loading up my car...but as for the bike - what the hell do I do with it? I dont think I can exactly UPS it up there. I was pondering getting some sort of trailor to latch on to my car for it...hmmm, I just dont know.

What is the best/safest way to transport a bike across the country?

yup, shouldn't cost you more than $500. You can try and contact some other shipping companies to see what they charge.

Hey Cammi, nice meeting you saturday night. As for your question, check AmTrack. You can put your bike on the autotrain. It goes from Sanford, FL to Northern VA.

Costs 150-170, depending on time of year you travel. They also do cars...

Uhaul rents motorcycle trailers. If your car has a hitch thats what I would do. I don't trust anyone moving my bitch.
