Putting serious thought into this...
I am on the market looking for some sort of transportation (Automobile, Motorcycle) I'm seriously debating what I want. I have the money for both, thats not the problem. My problem is, are Bike's really that dangerous to where I couldn't drive it everyday? Would it be smart to buy a Bike as my daily driver? I know it's how you as the person driving the Bike depends on how dangerous it actually is to have a Bike. I am not a crazy person and I'm sure I wouldn't be stupid on a Bike, because of how dangerous they can be. It's the other people I would have to watch out for, pulling in front of me and such. I just wanted some personal opinions from the experienced everyday Bike riders. The Bike I am looking at now is a 03'-04' Yamaha YZF R6.
Thank you,
-Jeremy.

I ride mine as a daily driver. Other drivers sucking is going to affect you regardless of what vehicle you are using. With a bike, you just have to be more defensive. Many bikers die, but frequently you only hear that half of it. More importantly is how they die...
2 Motorcyclists were killed today...
... while running a red light through a busy intersection at over 100 mph while running from the cops...
Rain is a bitch, but shit... don't be a pussy, take it like a man... or cry like I do.

^ lol True. I think it would depend on where you will be traveling the most. If you are gonna be on the interstate at 5:00pm and have to sit a half hour in rush hour traffic with a bunch of people who could care less where you're at then I'd say no.
But then again you could cut between all the cars and be out of rush hour in 5 minutes (not smart idea).

definitely would suggest against using a bike as a daily driver if you've never ridden before.
