Need some Yamaha engine work
Need some Yamaha engine work
Anybody have a recommendation on a shop who can resleeve an old 1974 DT125 Yamaha Enduro? Also, I need to purchase a new piston. Thanks!
I personally would go to Richie at RR. He is off of Faulkenburg, its like a 2 blocks north of 60 on the left. Its a business/warehouse complex and he is in the back. He has a few mechanics who do good work on dirt bikes/4 wheelers. Plus 1 of the mechanics there is a yamaha nut(steve). If they dont work out for you try Throttle Factory on Kings just south of 60on the right. Mike is another Yamaha nut and he does good work from what I hear!

R&R wouldve stole $800 from me if i were not for a friend of mine and richie's wife having a second thought.
they are thieves nothing more than common criminals.

bigB, I think your full of shit! There is nothing what so ever crooked about R&R. Richie is in now way, and by no means a scammer. The reason he didnt let Earl work on your bike is because Earl is not a Mechanic. Earl helped Richie out a bit with the shop, and he did some polishing, but Earl just isnt a good wrench. I mean come on, he put RedlineJimmy's clutch in backwards in his GSXR which caused it to burn out in under 50 miles.
Stale, as much of a Yamaha nut as I am, I'm going to have to decline this job. The bike is just too old. There are numerous other things that can go wrong while your working on such an old machine. I doubt Cahills will work on it either, being so old. Your best bet might be RTM motorcycles or maybe Throttle Factory.

Do you really have to start a thread every time you go on a ride and see a guy with no helmet on?
Does it affect you that much that some random guy 1500 miles away went and paid his own money for a 1000?
Do we really have to fight over who uses the back brake or not?
Do you have to argue over stupid pointless shit on the Internet?
