I personally would go to Richie at RR. He is off of Faulkenburg, its like a 2 blocks north of 60 on the left. Its a business/warehouse complex and he is in the back. He has a few mechanics who do good work on dirt bikes/4 wheelers. Plus 1 of the mechanics there is a yamaha nut(steve). If they dont work out for you try Throttle Factory on Kings just south of 60on the right. Mike is another Yamaha nut and he does good work from what I hear!

this guy "richie" is a scammer big time! please any one dont go to this guy. i had a cr250 rebuilt there and at the time my friend earl worked there he told richie he wanted to rebuild my bike. richie said no he would do the work himself....seems kinda weird right? o.k. so here what happened i got charged for an entire motor from crank to piston the whole thing. i didnt mind paying because thats what i needed. well two rides later the thing blows up so we took it appart. all of MY OLD PARTS were in there minus the piston witch was new.....probally only because the old one was unusable. so i called richie and told him what i found and his response was "our business is done" he was wrong. i made a huge stink and he once again told me to fuck off and dont call his shop any more. i call again and he says "it's your fault because the bike was submerged" i said "it's my fault you put old parts in my bike because i rode it into a puddle?" then he hung up. i kept calling....then i called the HCSD and i turns out he has a record for dealing in stolen bikes!!!! surprise surprise. so i call him back and he is to mad to talk to me and he puts his wife on the phone(bitch move handle your problems) i tell the whole thing to his wife she puts the phone down and goes"richie!...is this guy tellin the truth" i didnt hear a reply she asked if she could call me right back i said yes. she called back and said all of my parts will be at the shop in new sealed packages i one day. i told her i was thinking of pressing charges and i faxed her the statue in witch richie was i violation. my friend earl quit his job over this.

R&R wouldve stole $800 from me if i were not for a friend of mine and richie's wife having a second thought.

they are thieves nothing more than common criminals.

bigB, I think your full of shit! There is nothing what so ever crooked about R&R. Richie is in now way, and by no means a scammer. The reason he didnt let Earl work on your bike is because Earl is not a Mechanic. Earl helped Richie out a bit with the shop, and he did some polishing, but Earl just isnt a good wrench. I mean come on, he put RedlineJimmy's clutch in backwards in his GSXR which caused it to burn out in under 50 miles.

Stale, as much of a Yamaha nut as I am, I'm going to have to decline this job. The bike is just too old. There are numerous other things that can go wrong while your working on such an old machine. I doubt Cahills will work on it either, being so old. Your best bet might be RTM motorcycles or maybe Throttle Factory.
